Introducing Iliyan: LockFit’s New Franchisee in London Docklands!

We are thrilled to announce that Iliyan has joined the LockFit network as our newest franchisee, bringing LockFit’s trusted locksmith services to the London Docklands area! This marks a significant expansion in our mission to provide reliable and professional locksmith services across the region.

Originally from Bulgaria, Iliyan relocated to the UK five years ago after completing his studies in electrical engineering at a university in Italy. Currently employed as a telecommunications engineer with the London Underground, Iliyan’s interests lie in electronics, smart home technology, and automotive electronics.

Motivated by a desire for more flexibility to spend time with his family and to pursue entrepreneurship, Iliyan explored franchise opportunities online. He discovered LockFit and was convinced to join after speaking with a fellow  Bulgarian who is an existing Franchisee of LockFit. Their conversation solidified his decision, and he felt fully onboard.

Throughout the process, Franchise Director Andy from LockFit provided invaluable support, guiding Iliyan through every step. Iliyan underwent a comprehensive Stage 1 course with the UK Locksmith Association, followed by Stage 2 with LockFit’s CEO, Kevin, where he learnt additional confidential skills of the trade and gained confidence through hands-on experience.

Iliyan believes that diligence, organisation, and hard work are paramount to success. His immediate goals are to establish a steady workflow and expand his service area this year. In the long term, he envisions his business thriving with the addition of a second van and an assistant to help manage the workload within his expanding service areas.
