Welcoming Scott: LockFit’s Newest Franchisee Brings Expert Locksmith Services to Exeter!

We are excited to announce that Scott has joined the LockFit network as our newest franchisee, bringing LockFit’s trusted locksmith services to Exeter! This marks a significant expansion in our mission to provide reliable and professional locksmith services across the region.

Scott has had a remarkable journey before joining LockFit. Leaving home at just 16, he served as an artillery gunner in the army for six years. After his military service, he pursued his passion for extreme sports, spending a decade travelling the world and teaching kitesurfing. His adventurous spirit and dedication to kitesurfing and paramotoring reflect his commitment to excellence and continuous learning.

Despite his success in the world of extreme sports, Scott felt a pull towards problem-solving, a key aspect of locksmithing. Post-pandemic, he decided to return to the UK and transition into a new career. Intrigued by the potential of locksmithing, he discovered LockFit through franchise websites and was drawn to our supportive community and proven framework.

Speaking to current LockFit franchisees and hearing their positive experiences solidified his decision. From the initial training experience , through the unwavering support from one of  Lockfit’s mentors proved invaluable. The group chat within the LockFit community has also been a crucial resource for Scott, ensuring he feels supported every step of the way.

One of Scott’s first memorable experiences as a LockFit franchisee was helping a customer who was trapped in their holiday lodge. The relief and gratitude on the customer’s face underscored the rewarding nature of his new career. While it is still early days, Scott is enthusiastic about his new path and is already encouraging his best friend to join the LockFit family.

Scott is eager to grow his business, undertake specialist training, and increase brand recognition in his local area. His advice to anyone considering a similar career path is simple: “Go for it and take the leap.”
